To support our rapidly growing customer base, we are looking for our first Enterprise Support Engineer, based within a few hours of GMT (UTC+0) to join our team. About the job You will become a customer-facing subject-matter expert on CI/CD optimization, Docker, and build tools across a variety of languages and technologies You will advise customers on best practices and handle technical support requests You will identify product and resource gaps in customer contexts and work with the founders to prioritize and escalate them You will assist customers migrating from legacy build infrastructure to take full advantage of Depot’s platform About you You are able to debug and troubleshoot issues, combining experience and intuition to find root causes for bugs and issues You are comfortable in front of customers, able to assist but also empower them to become successful on their own You are comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone. We assist customers with their GitHub Actions workflows, give recommendations for Dockerfile optimizations, debug performance regressions, and generally see a wide range of build and CI configurations You can operate independently, but know when to flag for help You know how to work under pressure in times of urgency. Blocked build pipelines can mean not deploying critical fixes to production, not hitting deadlines, etc, so we and our customers take issues seriously You are a skilled communicator who can explain, articulate, and present things clearly & concisely in both asynchronous and synchronous settings What you will need DevOps consulting or similar customer-facing technical experience Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms, e.g. GitHub Actions Working knowledge of Docker, Dock...
