To wrap up our look at print sci-fi I am going to compare and contrast two books released in 2020 that both have much in common with Mirrorshades, but in very different ways:, Gibson’s (“””the father of cyberpunk”””) Agency and Miciah Johnson’s debut novel “The Space Between Worlds”. Gibson has said that he never attempted to make a complete list of all the things that make up “the jackpot” because it would be too depressing, so some elements of it are left vague.
